Supporting students in New South Wales to achieve their educational goals
Chances for Children has partnered with Community Bank Wentworth & District to provide a scholarship that helps students in the region continue their studies. This scholarship is valued at up to $5,000 per year for up to four years of study, providing financial support to help students in reaching their educational goals.
Eligibility criteria
To apply for the Community Bank Wentworth & District Chances scholarship, applicants must:

Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident

Reside in the Wentworth Local Government Area (LGA)

Be able to demonstrate financial hardship
The scholarship must be accepted in the year it is offered and cannot be deferred.

Scholarship recipients are selected by the Chances for Children District Selection Committee based on:
All successful applicants are required to submit a short letter of thanks to their scholarship donor, Community Bank Wentworth & District, upon receiving the award.
