Bequests and Wills

By making a gift to Chances for Children in your Will, you can help young people achieve their potential as well as help us to build a viable and vibrant future for our region. What better legacy can you leave behind?

Your Will can make a difference.
Making a Will is one of the most important personal acts you will undertake. By making a Will, you ensure your final wishes are carried out.

There are a number of options for you to consider when making a bequest; you can include a sum of money from your Estate; a percentage of your Estate; the residue of your Estate after you have made gifts to family and friends; or assets such as property, shares, collections, works or art etc.

Should you be considering making a gift or bequest, we encourage you to seek advice from a solicitor or tax advisor.
We understand that making a Will is a personal matter and you may not wish to discuss it outside your family circle. However, if you do decide to include Chances for Children in your Will, we would very much appreciate being notified so we can acknowledge your support now.

An individual or their family may also choose to ask funeral attendees to make donations to Chances in lieu of flowers at a funeral.  Chances can provide administrative support to the family or elected representative during this time.
